From space to book your own events and weekday co-working\/ open flow hours to thoughtfully curated events &amp; access to a rich network, members have access to a number of offerings that foster more than just access, but possibilities for meaningful connection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed with fluidity in mind, soft(spaces) serves as a dynamic ecosystem of people, places &amp; experiences. Founded and run by a BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurospicy couple, soft(spaces) is a reflection of lived experience\u2014intentionally centering creativity, community, rest, and play.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/salganyc.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/salganyc.org\/\">SALGA<\/a> &#8211; SALGA NYC is one of the oldest organizations serving LGBTQ+ South Asians in the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>More about SALGA<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through cultural events, social gatherings, discussion groups, and community celebrations, SALGA creates a welcoming space where members can explore both their LGBTQ+ and South Asian identities while building meaningful connections.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lgbtbrooklyn.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.lgbtbrooklyn.org\/\">Brooklyn Community Pride Center<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>More about Brooklyn Community Pride Center<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brooklyn Community Pride Center provides inclusive programs that support LGBTQ+ individuals through peer groups, wellness initiatives, educational workshops, and community events. The center focuses on creating opportunities for connection, support, and personal growth in a welcoming environment.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-eaa0692c-c979-42f2-b7db-15f0879479f4\"><a href=\"https:\/\/comptroller.nyc.gov\/lgbtq\">NYC Comptroller LGBTQ+ Resource List<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-bdfc5f97-cd43-4cec-86ac-18b8d6dd16af\"><a href=\"https:\/\/glaad.org\/\">GLAAD.org<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 GLAAD is a non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ advocacy and cultural change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-eed878c2-77db-4ea4-94dc-21398b28d293\"><a href=\"https:\/\/comptroller.nyc.gov\/services\/for-the-public\/lgbtq-guide\/overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Comptroller\u2019s LGBTQ+ Guide<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 a citywide directory of organizations and services for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Gender Non-Conforming New Yorkers. From senior services, access to housing, the arts, and youth support, this guide serves as a reminder that New York City will continue to celebrate and support LGBTQ+ communities citywide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-379684fc-c40f-47e2-97d9-0d13224b75fe\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Trevor Project<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-bd80cc59-54f3-4810-8678-679cc415f91e\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cuny.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/media-assets\/LGBTQ_Glossary-ItGetsBetterProject.pdf\">LGBTQ Glossary \u2013 It Gets Better Project<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-e6186437-000f-4e57-8fe4-5e7387b28d52\"><a href=\"https:\/\/itgetsbetter.org\/\">It Gets Better.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-48f73bf5-f0c3-4d0b-bacc-89e48d75ef3d\"><em><br><br>This website was created through the collaborative efforts of the 2026 LGBTQIA+ Health Fellows Program,&nbsp;an initiative&nbsp;founded and developed through the leadership and vision of Dr. Jan Oosting,&nbsp;Associate Professor, Nursing;&nbsp;Mateo Tebar, LGBTQIA+ Student Resource Assistant;&nbsp;and&nbsp;Anthony&nbsp;Sweeney, Associate Director of Student Life.&nbsp;Special recognition is extended to Tiya Williams, LGBTQIA+ Health Fellows Program&nbsp;College Assistant, for coordinating resources and supporting the website development. Additional recognition goes to Jesse Evans-Rice, Open Lab Manager, and Christina Chala,&nbsp;CUNY Central\u2019s&nbsp;Student Inclusion Office Manager, for their guidance, support, and contributions throughout the project.
