Portmore (Professor of Philosophy at Arizona State University) \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.public.asu.edu\/~dportmor\/tips.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cTips on Writing A Philosophy Paper\u201d<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Description:<\/em> Portmore focuses on (1) the ability to comprehend, reconstruct, and analyze complex philosophical arguments; (2) the ability to critically evaluate such arguments; (3) the ability to argue persuasively for one\u2019s own views; and (4) the ability to articulate one\u2019s own thoughts in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Finding reputable popular sources in Philosophy:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Resource:<\/em> The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philosophersmag.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Philosophers&#8217; Magazine<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Description:<\/em> <em>The Philosophers&#8217; Magazine<\/em> (TPM) is an independent quarterly, devoted to presenting academic philosophy in an accessible, non- technical format. It includes interviews with leading philosophers, as well as news, essays, reviews, and regular columnists.
