As soon as you save your recording, the captioning process will begin. Captions should appear in 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the length of your recording.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Features<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All new audio and video recordings are automatically captioned<\/li>\n<li>Automatic captions take 5-10 seconds to appear<\/li>\n<li>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.voicethread.com\/howto\/closed-captioning\/#automatic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">edit automatic captions<\/a> for accuracy, if needed<\/li>\n<li>You can make a new copy of previously created VoiceThreads to add automatic captions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Getting Started<\/h2>\n<h3>Viewing Captions in VoiceThread<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click on a VoiceThread to view it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click on the <\/span><b>CC<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> icon in the <strong>upper right corner of the screen<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Next, select <\/span><b>On<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to turn the captions on.
