If your students use this feature to message you, you will only see a notification if you use Blackboard mobile.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not use the Blackboard mobile app, we recommend that you either ask your students to avoid the Messages feature, or update your notification settings on desktop.<\/p>\n<p>To turn on these notification settings, please follow the below steps:<br \/>\n1. Log into Blackboard and click on \u201cNotifications Dashboard\u201d from your home screen.<br \/>\n2.
