Use the steps below will enable the VoiceThread tool to appear as an option to use in your Blackboard course. Note: These steps should only be used if the \u201cSPS VoiceThread LTI One\u201d option is missing from your Build Content Menu.<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/h3>\n

Start by logging into Blackboard and entering the course where you wish to enable VoiceThread.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/h3>\n

Navigate to the \u201cControl Panel\u201d on the lower left menu. Select \u201cCustomization\u201d and then \u201cTool Availability.\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/h3>\n

On the following screen, you will see a long list of tools available in alphabetical order. Scroll down and find \u201cSPS VoiceThread LTIOne.\u201d Click the check box farthest to the right of \u201cSPS VoiceThread LTIOne.\u201d With this box checked, click submit.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/h3>\n

You should see a message that reads \u201cSuccess: Tool Settings updated\u201d when this step is complete.<\/p>\n

To confirm that VoiceThread has been configured, go to a content page in Blackboard and hover your mouse over the \u201cBuild Content\u201d menu. You should see \u201cSPS VoiceThread LTIOne\u201d as an option.<\/p>\n
