Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Brightspace, users are able to delete and edit discussion posts. Instructors can view threads that students deleted or edited. Instructors can use the steps below for a full view of the history of any discussion topic in their course.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

View Deleted Posts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the Discussions<\/strong> area and click Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the Display deleted posts<\/strong> option, scroll down, and click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open the discussion thread you wish to view and you will see the deleted posts in blue. Click Show deleted thread<\/strong> to view the content of the deleted post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are now able to see threads that users have deleted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

View Discussion Post Edits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Edited posts have a pencil icon<\/strong>. If you hover over the icon, you can see when the last edits were made to the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To see what edits were made, click the arrow<\/strong> next to the title of the thread to open the thread menu. Select View Post History<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will see the changes that have been made to the post under Post Changes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
