It is amazing how you can show up someplace (in this case a Kiosk information session) and leave with something so unexpected. My role involves more work than I anticipated, but when you do something you enjoy, it gives you a greater level of energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am most excited about my first article, <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.sps.cuny.edu\/the-kiosk\/tortoise-or-hare-the-candid-results\/\">Tortoise or Hare? The Candid Results<\/a>, because it includes data gleaned from the survey in my first&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.sps.cuny.edu\/the-kiosk\/letter-from-the-editor-team-tortoise-or-team-hare\/\">Letter from the Editor: Team Tortoise or Team Hare?<\/a>&nbsp;Thank you to all the participants who shared so candidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also had the opportunity to review quality articles. There are good topics available for you to peruse at your leisure. But for being editor-in-chief, I likely would not have found them. Just a little #KelleyTip.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For next semester, we are working on workshops that will help contributors use their articles in a more beneficial way, for example a \u201cBusiness Buzz\u201d section. We will revisit journalism workshops as well. Just a little teaser \u2026 more on this in the spring along with other ideas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the spring semester in mind, if you have an article idea you would like to submit, feel free to do so in advance. I am available to review submissions. This leads me to the next big news: we have added a submission form to our <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.sps.cuny.edu\/the-kiosk\/submission-guidelines-faq-2\/\">Submission Guidelines<\/a> page. You could very well be the first to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy end of the semester!
