Theme: Lavender Dreams – Crafting a Joyful Future

"Lavender Dreams" symbolizes the hopes, aspirations, and determination of LGBTQI+ students who are not only envisioning a future filled with authenticity and joy but are actively working to create it. This year, in honor of CUNY SPS’s first-ever Lavender Celebration Ceremony, we are proud to recognize alumni from 2008 to 2024—acknowledging those who did not have the opportunity to participate in a Lavender Ceremony until now.

This celebration is more than a recognition of academic achievement—it is a tribute to the courage and dedication it takes to pursue your dreams as your true self. Every graduate and alum honored at this ceremony embodies the spirit of creating a future where all identities are celebrated and all dreams are within reach.
