How To Use Posts in Your OpenLab Portfolio
Posts are unique places to put content for your WordPress portfolio.
Here, you have all of the same functionality you’ll find on a Page, but posts are a little more dynamic. If you’re familiar with blogs, posts display in reverse-chronological order. This means your most recent post will appear at the top of the posts page.
This can be a useful feature for any updates or time-sensitive material you might want to share in your OpenLab portfolio.
For example, you may have an important event coming up. Maybe you’re presenting at a conference or giving a performance. You have access to all the same blocks and tools in a post as you have in a page!
In Posts, you have access to the full suite of WordPress formatting blocks, including image and media blocks, paragraph blocks for organizing text, and blocks that integrate with external tools like Spotify and YouTube. You’re able to add as much multimedia as your heart desires!
You’ll also be able to use your active Plugins in both posts and pages.
