I started a Doctorate of Business Administration program in June 2024. It’s in Digital Leadership, a new program designed to prepare us to lead through our current VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) business landscape.
It has been interesting, to say the least. I have learned much so far and am glad to have access to such pertinent information.
I have been thinking about what students should know and what we, as an organization, should know and do.
At the time of this writing, I have completed my innovation class. We are not actually an innovative organization. We have the seeds, motivation, and intention to be one, but we lack the most essential component, a vehicle to learn and disseminate organizational knowledge.
Here is a space to start much-needed conversations about technology and our future. We have to learn a lot incredibly fast. Let’s teach each other about what we are learning.
Generative AI was not introduced to society in the best way. It should have been introduced as a learning tool. However, the Kraken has been released, so to speak, and hopefully, as an adult learning organization, we can spin the narrative.
Please think of this space as our ongoing conversation. I have created discussions of questions I have wondered.
There is a live document with interesting links from my classes and uploaded files I have found during my research. I am sure to share more in two and a half more years. Feel free to make suggestions and share, too.
