Bio
My lived experiences, as well as my passion for inclusiveness, have had a significant impact on my development as a student and educator. Studying Disability Studies has made me realize the need for advocacy, accessibility, and person-centered support. Working as a college assistant at BMCC and being a member of Kappa Delta Pi allows me to help others while enhancing my leadership and service skills. Through community service and creativity, I aim to serve as a voice for those who are often unheard and to establish environments in which all individuals feel acknowledged, appreciated, and integrated. Education is not standardized; it is a commitment to meeting people where they are and supporting them to reach their full potential.
