Campus Resources
Mission Statement The Office of Student Life at the CUNY School of Professional Studies provides our rich and diverse student population with accessible co-curricular and academic enrichment opportunities to develop their educational goals, leadership skills, and community engagement beyond the classroom. Vision Statement The Office of Student Life envisions a vibrant community here at CUNY SPS where every student is empowered to explore diverse interests and develop skills that complements their academic journeys. Through active participation in student governance, mentoring, and volunteer programs, students attain leadership and professional skills. Student clubs focused on advocacy, affinity, arts, and recreation provide students the opportunity to explore their academic interests outside of the classroom. All activities sponsored by the Office of Student Life are open to current students without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or citizenship. If you are interested in learning more about how you can be involved in student life at CUNY SPS, contact our office at studentservices@sps.cuny.edu.
“If you look at history, innovation doesn’t come just from giving people incentives; it comes from creating environments where their ideas can connect.” — Steven Johnson This space, run by the Cultivating Innovation Committee, is for SPS to share and learn about the innovations we use or want to use.
