My college education started at LaGuardia Community College.
Not knowing where my career path was headed I began as a
Liberal Arts major. After a few years of taking classes, life happened.
My life took a shift and money became an obstacle. I had to put my
education on pause.
Later on, I took adult education classes (at several other schools). I also attempted to acquire my bachelors degree, but many colleges did not transfer my credits. It felt like I was starting from scratch, so I decided to return to LaGuardia to finish what I started.
Fast forward to 2015, I readmitted to LaGuardia, but this time I was a New Media Technology major.
I knew I loved coding and graphic design, but I fell in love with videography. My major at LaGuardia touched on many things media related. It was a great way to explore other media outlets. But film making by far peaked my interests.
To this day I continue to film, edit, create graphics, and produce.
Working at the OFDIT media studio at CUNY SPS and also obtaining my producer certificate from MNN studios has strengthen my experience. I love video creation so much I have a youtube channel that shows some of my work.
My education continues at Lehman College, where I am a Film and Television Major under the multimedia journalism umbrella. Lehman has allowed me to explore and gain more knowledge that continues my production path.
