Overview
Instructors can reset quiz attempts in Brightspace if students need another chance due to technical issues, accidental submissions, or other valid reasons. Resetting a quiz attempt erases the selected attempt for that student, allowing them to retake it.
To Reset Quiz Attempts
- In your course, go to Activities → Quizzes in the navigation bar.
- On the Manage Quizzes page, select the quiz for which you want to reset attempts by clicking the chevron icon beside its title and selecting Grade.
- On the next page, select the checkbox for each attempt you’d like to reset and click the Reset option at the top of the table.
