Once you’ve created a rubric in Brightspace, you can attach it to assignments or discussions to streamline grading and provide clear, consistent feedback to students.

To attach a rubric:

  1. On the editing page of an Assignment or Discussion Topic, click the Evaluation & Feedback tab on the right.
  1. Click Add rubric and select Add Existing.
  1. From the pop-up window, select the rubric that you’d like to attach and click Add Selected.

Note: Only published rubrics can be selected to attach to the assignment or discussion.

  1. After attaching the rubric, click Save and Close.
