Higher education administrator with expertise in community engagement and program development. Created the Office of Student Life at the CUNY School of Professional Studies which now includes student leadership training; clubs and activities; peer-mentoring programs; and a technology loan program. Managed online, social media, and print marketing campaigns for both non-profit and corporate institutions. Documentary outreach and distribution specialist, including film acquisitions, sales, marketing, and product development.

The Kiosk

The Kiosk is the independent, student-run newspaper for the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Our mission is to bridge the distance-learning gap by creating a virtual lounge for all aspects of student life at CUNY SPS. At The Kiosk, students can learn about CUNY SPS clubs, events, creative projects of fellow students, and much more! The Kiosk was first founded in 2018 by student journalists Lisa Sheridan and Milan Fredricks, and is managed by the Office of Student Life at the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Mission Statement The Office of Student Life at the CUNY School of Professional Studies provides our rich and diverse student population with accessible co-curricular and academic enrichment opportunities to develop their educational goals, leadership skills, and community engagement beyond the classroom. Vision Statement The Office of Student Life envisions a vibrant community here at CUNY SPS where every student is empowered to explore diverse interests and develop skills that complements their academic journeys. Through active participation in student governance, mentoring, and volunteer programs, students attain leadership and professional skills. Student clubs focused on advocacy, affinity, arts, and recreation provide students the opportunity to explore their academic interests outside of the classroom. All activities sponsored by the Office of Student Life are open to current students without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or citizenship.
