The Kiosk is thrilled to host veteran freelance journalist Katina Paron, whose reporting has been featured in The New York Daily News, Inside Climate News, The Trace, and more.
This workshop would go into detail on the art of self-editing. Using an easy-to-follow checklist as a guide, participants will learn how to read over their draft with an editor’s eye. This important life skill could be applied to other content besides journalism – academic, professional, personal
Students will gain the ability to review their own work and walk away with tips on being a better writer.
Bonus: For a limited time, participants can schedule a 1 on 1 session with Katina to review a piece of journalistic writing or consult on a reporting project.
