In the weeks leading up to the 2025 CUNY SPS Commencement ceremony, the School hosted three additional ceremonies to honor graduates in the Black Student Union, Nursing program, and the School’s LGBTQI+ graduates. 

The first-ever Lavender Graduation Ceremony took place on May 6, co-sponsored by the CUNY SPS Office of Student Life and the Pride Club. On May 7, CUNY SPS celebrated the Nursing programs’ graduates at the annual Nursing Convocation and Pinning Ceremony held at Baruch College. Lastly, on May 15, the Black Student Union honored Black graduates during its fifth annual ceremony.
